Episode 76: Friends w/ Benefits: Should You Ever Turn Your Situationship Into A Relationship? w/ guest Sexologist & Psychotherapist Kristie Overstreet

Things are good with you two. Actually, pretty great. You hang out, talk about everyday shit, and every so often when you’re feeling frisky – you two have sex. Because you guys are friends, you know each other.  You know what gets her mad, she knows what makes you laugh out loud. With the added layer of sex though, now you guys know each other. She knows what makes you feel masculine, and you know how to make her feel special. Now that’s what I call BFF’s, right? But, why stop there? I mean, if you guys are great friends and you two have amazing sex… what’s to stop from taking the next step? Aren’t you basically “together” anyway? What could go wrong? The three of us are gonna hash it out. Tune in and see what we come up with!    Continue reading

Episode 60: How close is TOO close? – Where’s The Line between Pal & Partner?

Flirting. Pet names.  Cuddle time. Vacations. Quality Time. All awesome things that you and a significant other can do right? But what if you were doing these things with just… a friend? Not a friend with benefits, or a friend that you are trying to see a future with, but nope.. a plain ol friend. Weird, huh? Well, not according to some people who have done it in my & Jenn’s lives. Some feel it’s completely fine to assign cutesy names, or attend events that our dear to you, or travel across the country with you and still be able to stay platonic with you. Um.. what? Maybe it’s cool for some, but it’s definitely something that I’m not cool with. Tune in and find out what Jenn and I think!  Continue reading

Letter Jackets & Going Steady – Forget Chivalry, is Commitment Dead?

I wasn’t born during the time of the sock hop, malt shakes and the Sadie Hawkin’s dance. Despite Johnny Rocket’s efforts to time warp us back to that era, I can only get a sense of the era through movies and TV and campfire stories from people. From what I gather, it was real cool to be in a relationship back then because things mattered.  Continue reading

Episode 20: Situationships

Ever wonder to yourself “where is this going?” while you’re dealing with a potential partner? You don’t know if you’re just dating, actually a couple, “messing around”, friends with benefits, fuck buddies, etc. You’re kinda just.. there. Dealing with each other. You, my friend, just might be in a sticky situationship. Confused? Don’t worry, we are too. Jennifer and I explore what it is to be in a situationship, what it consists of, if it’s even worth being in one, and is it really as bad as it sounds. Also, Jennifer hits me up with a proposition.. to be propositioned… in a sex club. Wait, WHAT?!  Continue reading

(I mentioned this blog on Episode 16)

So semi-regularly I listen to a podcast called Guys We Fucked and it’s great. It’s about 2 women who are sexually liberated and don’t mind talking about their escapades on air Continue reading
