If you don’t know what that is, no worries because this episode is all about shining a light on an unseemly popular subculture that gets a bad rap in mainstream media. As a Demisexual, you only develop feelings of sexual attraction for a person after developing deep emotional or mental connections with them first.  This means that you may spontaneously develop feelings of desire for any person in your life of whom you are closely bonded with.  Otherwise, it’s very rare for you to feel any immediate attraction to a person based on looks or personality.  For this reason, you fall into the middle of the Asexual and Sexual spectrum, experiencing no primary attraction to people, but forming secondary attraction to people you’ve connected with deeply.  As such, it’s very rare for you to feel aroused by pornography or to be manipulated by societies use of sex to sell products.  Also, it’s very uncommon and perhaps impossible for you to cheat, or to feel attracted to many different people in your life time.  In summary, you:

• Must first bond closely with a person to feel sexually attracted to them.
• Rarely experience “love at first sight”.
• Don’t experience any primary attraction to people, e.g. breasts, asses and muscles are aesthetically pleasing, not sexually arousing.
• Can be perceived as “frigid” and sexually “aloof”, often being mistaken for Asexuals.
• Can develop feelings for best friends, work partners, study buddies, family friends etc.
• Rarely sleep around or cheat in relationships.
• Are sexually attracted to very few people in your lifetime.
• Only interested in having sex with people you love.

Furry definition – The furry fandom is a subculture interested in fictional anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics.^[1]Examples of anthropomorphic attributes include exhibiting human intelligence and facial expressions, the ability to speak, walk on two legs, and wear clothes. Furry fandom is also used to refer to the community of people who gather on the Internet and at furry conventions.

The International Anthropomorphic Research Project, a team of social scientists from various disciplines, has been collecting data on the furry fandom using numerous methodologies.^[66][67] The continued research has provided a variety of results.^[68] Furries belong to a multitude of fandoms: 21% of furries consider themselves to be a brony, 44% consider themselves to be anime fans, but only 11% consider themselves sport fans.^[69] The average adult furry (minors are excluded in this research for ethical reasons) is between 23–27 years of age,^[70] with more than 75% of adult furries reporting being 25 years of age or younger, and 88% of adult furries being under the age of 30.^[71] On average, furries begin identifying themselves at the age of 16-17, and begin actively participating in the fandom at the age of 17-19.^[70] 78-85% of furries self-identify as male,^[70] and nearly 2% of furries identify as transgender.^[69] 83-90% of furries self-identify as White, with a small minority of furries self-identifying as Asian (2-4%), Black (2-3%), and Hispanic (3%).
